Add the Purge System and Ozonator to the Mix!

The purge cycle comes standard with any tub from Boca Walk-In Tubs - USA Walk-In Tubs that has air jet therapy. The cycle comes on automatically 20 minutes after the bath to dry out the air jet system. This prevents any moisture from sitting in the lines after each bath. However, since the whirlpool and water jet system pulls water through the suction in the foot well of the tub, there is often a buildup of debris that can get into the water jet system, including:

• Dead skin
• Soap scum
• Dirt

Our fully licensed and insured technicians recommend flushing out the water jet lines monthly or quarterly to remove any debris from the system. Additionally, you can set up the ozonator to provide maintenance between the purge system deep cleans.

The ozonator detects when water has been placed in the walk-in tub through sensors we install. Once water has been detected, the ozonator will wait until no more water is detected, and then it’ll start a one-hour timer. Once the one-hour timer is up (and no more water has been placed in the tub), the ozonator will run an automatic 15-minute cleaning cycle to kill germs and bacteria in the water jet system.
